Well, I continue to use the Different Strokes from Different Folks blog to gather ideas. This is a previous post of Karin's dog Jack. I think this has inspired me to paint my brother's Boxer, Ceasar. He loves to pose for photos!

    Jeran, I am so impressed! I love the quick brush strokes, the warm brown tones, and the bold highlights! I have got to start painting again, dental school has killed my motivation!

    Very nicely done, Jeran. The expression on the dogs face is very real... curious, watchful. Really like your handling of the fabric, too.
