Cylas the Boxer

"Cylas"

18" x 24"

Oil on Canvas

This is a commissioned piece that I painted for a teacher I had in High School, Rob Ailey. Cylas is a pretty cool dog! Rob and his wife love it.

Jack

8x10

Oil on masonite panel

Well, I continue to use the Different Strokes from Different Folks blog to gather ideas. This is a previous post of Karin's dog Jack. I think this has inspired me to paint my brother's Boxer, Ceasar. He loves to pose for photos!

Alabama Cow

12" x 16"

Oil on masonite

Yesterday I was looking at previous challenges on the Different Strokes site and came across the Alabama cow. I had never painted a cow before so I decided to take a jab at it. I was skeptical at first, but I came through and finished it. It took about 4 hours to complete.
